History

The hotel and restaurant Sternen has a long tradition. The well-known establishment opened its doors in 1834.  The complex of buildings was placed under monumental protection. Furthermore, the buildings were renovated comprehensively in 1978 by leaving the outside shell. In 1980, the house was opened as a country inn and seminar hotel.

The hotel is located close to the city limits, near the idyllic Aare river, in the center of Muri, and impresses with its ambience.

Our house is equipped with 44 rooms, all of which are equipped with a shower/toilet, phone, kettle, minibar and hairdryer. All our rooms are non-smoking.

The 17 rooms in the main house were renovated in autumn 2013 and supplemented with Feng Shui color elements.

The 27 Superior rooms with balcony are very quietly situated and were renovated in the summer of 2006.

As a seminar hotel, we have different conference facilities at our disposal. Big rooms and meeting rooms are available for our guests. By using partition walls, we are able to change the size of the rooms according to your wishes.

The banquet rooms and smaller parlors round our offer off. All our rooms are suitable for meetings, events or family celebrations in big our small groups.

Our kitchen team will enchant you with seasonal creations. Our offer includes a range from international cuisine to traditional Swiss food. Various weekly specials round off the range.

With its pleasant atmosphere, the „Läubli“ restaurant invites you to relax.

If the weather is good, we will be happy to reserve a table for you on our terrace.
